There are 12 very heavy weight spoons. English King is the heaviest Tiffany pattern. Length 7 3/4" Monogram: Single Old English letter (?). The reverse has a large shell at the base of the bowl, and the shank is the same as the front, something that is not seen on current silver. Marked Tiffany & C0 sterling Pat 1885 M They date about the turn of the century.

Wonderful for serving from large bowls as the button on the reverse keeps the spoon from slipping into the bowl. Length 12.50" Monogram "A" of the period. Krider served in the army in the Civil War, and at its end in 1865 he returned to the silver business Krider and Biddle located in Philadelphia,taking it over five years later. The spoon dates about 1875. Krider was one of the best silversmiths during that time. PLease note- the spot on the back of the spoon is not there. ...click for details

A Medallion piece marked sterling. Length 9.5" Please note the narrow flange rim. Nice patina; excellent condition. Stamped with Gorham anchor, lion, and Old English G, Pat. 1864, sterling, and the retailer name Crosby & Morse. That company was in Boston. There is a monogram "H" on the reverse.
