This lady's walnut rocker is crested with a very nice grape carving. The back has a row of tufting which does lend a very graceful Victorian look. The covering is spotless . The linen color ground has a mellowed maroon design . " The back of this chair is shaped so that it fits your back," the words of my father.
Outstanding 18th century American Federal
Hepplewhite bold tiger maple drop leaf table with swing legs. 1795-1815 period. The surface although not original it does display those so wanted aged brownish tones. It has been in my collection of antique furniture since 1974.
Tiger maple Pembroke tables are rarely seen. This bold tiger maple table is in original condition with a wonderful patina, the same color as in the picture c. 1790-1810. The legs are well tigered. It is 24"x 16"x 291/2".
