Outstanding 18th century bold tiger maple swing leg table. The table top surface, although not original, does display those so wanted aged brownish tones. Notice the interesting rounded corners instead of the usual square ones on each leaf. The wood used to make the legs displays the so desirable tiger markings. Be sure to see the antique tiger maple pembroke table also posted on Trocadero and on Sterling Matching Service Web Site.
This lady's walnut rocker is crested with a very nice grape carving. The back has a row of tufting which does lend a very graceful Victorian look. The covering is spotless . The linen color ground has a mellowed maroon design . " The back of this chair is shaped so that it fits your back," the words of my father.
