An elegant sterling silver Victorian pattern issued by Gorham in 1897. This pie or cake server has a sterling silver handle and a new stainless blade. There are no dents in the handle. The monogram on the handle tells you that it truly is antique silver. It is a handy server for gelatin salads.

Exotic set with vermeil shell bowls which are in excellent condition. Length 10 3/4" A majestic salad set. The long handle set is seldom seen in Versailles. The designs of this pattern were copied from tapestries in the Palais de Versailles in France. Gorham issued this pattern c. 1888. May be used separately to serve other foods from large bowls.

A fabulous piece, a very rare one by the famous Medallion silversmith John Wendt. Length 11" Width 3.5" It has detailed engraving, mint condition, covering the entire 5" long blade and the pointed fingers. It has a monogram on the back. It is marked 925 Ball, Black & Co. who was the retailer. Wendt did not mark his pieces with a mark of his own. This is an unusually heavy piece, well balanced. The condition is excellent. Date - prior 1865.
