Maker is Joseph Loring working 1743-1815 Boston, Massachusetts. A feather edge coin tablespoon, with a plume embossed on the reverse. Monogram CBE. Maker's mark is there but not too clear. See picture of drop. Tip of bowl in fine condition.

The shank has exceptional bright cut work
leading to the oval with a monogram. The back of the bowl has a somewhat worn bird, worn as that area rests on the table, resting there since early in the 1700s. The shank seems thicker than most coin spoons. The maker's mark "SB" is on the reverse but the B is not showing in my picture but it is there. A rare pair of antique cased student lamp shades. Green with white casing. Some imperfections in the glass . The color is not exactly the same in both of the shades. When lighted they are a pea green. One does show some tiny black specks when lighted but when you see that wonderful pea green color not seen in shades today, those specks will not detract. They are early glass and the color is not even in them creating some shading. The fitters are 6 7/8",

An elegant server with an engraved blade which has bright cut work creating a sparkle. Maker Bigelow & Bros. & Kennard. Boston silversmiths c. 1850. There are two sets of script monograms of the period on the reverse, indicating the piece was given as a gift.
