18th CENTURY COIN TABLESPOON IPSWICH,MA DANIEL ROGERS
Daniel Rogers worked 1753-1792 in Ipswich, Massachusetts and in Newport, Rhode Island. This spoon is one of a collection of 18th century spoons that has been in a bank box for the last 30 years. It has been slightly hand cleaned. There is a delightful shimmer on the shank, only seen on an early handwrought piece of silver. Length 9" The maker's mark is on the reverse.
