| This is a very desirable Tiffany sterling silver flatware set, desirable because it truly IS dinner size, designed by Charles T.Grojean for Tiffany & Co. It has the date mark M 1869-1891. This is a double die-cut antique sterling silver pattern, that is, the same design is on both sides of the shanks. All the place pieces have the same monogram. Please see the picture for style letter. The teaspoons have no monograms. There are 6 teaspoons, 12 dinner forks with very thick shanks, 12 dinner knives 10 1/4” , 12 salad forks, 12 dessert/oval soup spoons, 3 serving tablespoons. The knife blades have a few tiny spots not pit marks, but probably from the knives being tied with elastic band. Please see the pictures of the knife blades. The spots at the tip end of the blades are not on the blades; the spots are the small brownish ones. The blades can be replaced with stainless blades that are the same shape as the plated blades.Please e-mail matching@comcast.net for additional information. | ||
